Gonna have a BIG circular area that's flat with pavers that have to drain to somewhere during rain. Why not filter through that area. I like the pond idea but we'll see.

It's looking more and more like a pond.

this is very odd, they now have a steam roller out there flattening that part out. Why would you do this just to plant trees? That area will be receiving no pavers if the the plans and video are accurate, Doesnt make much sense. They have to have something else in mind for that area.

Also you would not put a retention pond upfront like that to hold runoff. That is the centerpiece of your park. Maybe we are finally getting a large Kings Dominion/Island type fountain? But it does seem kind of deep for such a thing.

It looks like the stages supports are the ones for the return track. If that's the case then it appears they are going to work back towards the station for now.

I agree with with uscbandfan. And not just the circular area, there is all the new parking area too. I wonder if they are preparing that area to be a rain garden. I think it makes sense. All that water from the new parking area (when it rains) has to go somewhere.

That's why the paths are raised by about 5 feet from the bottom of where that depression is (also because it's about a 3% grade from the parking lot up to the entrance). Hence why I think that there will be lots of trees there like in the animation.

Removing the dirt and replacing it with fill dirt (free of rocks) and topsoil would allow trees to grow faster most likely. Plus think of all of the oil and chemicals in the ground from the toll plaza.

Yes^^ I've tried everything.
What's happening is: I click the link for the site/page where the viewing screen is as usual,
The page loads, but it's a completely blank page.

I think they will end up filling it in with soil more suited to benefit the growth of the trees, for at least a couple feet.

The idea of a fountain would be cool, but I would prefer something on a smaller-scale, honestly. Like the old fountain within the gate. Maybe they could bring something back once you enter the gate, but put it in the center of the new post-gate section. That would be amazing, imo. A rain garden would be nice too, but I genuinely think we are just getting trees lol.
