Closer still. No, 12 coasters isn't enough! It says something like "200 lbs" on there. So I'm guessing either a 200ft drop or lift. Let's hope for 230ft lift and 200ft drop.

It looks like it says 3891200 lbs. Could be 3891 ft. long and 200 ft. high, but that seems rather short. Goliath at SFOG is 4480 ft. long. Even so, I think that number could mean something, because that would translate to 1950 tons which no container would weigh. Why put that on their? Maybe just to confuse us?

Perhaps the entire coaster weighs 3.8 million pounds?

Diamondback weighs 1,503 tons and is 5,282 ft long. The weight being coded could be true, however, that length seems short. I translated it to 1765 metric tons, but I also googled what the conversion was so I could be off. Assuming it is also a B&M hyper and tons is relative to ft long, this B&M would be 6,202 ft long. (I just did a simple rations of 1503 ton/ 5,282 ft = 1765 tons / x ft and solved). I could be way off, but its a guess.

Can anyone read what the identification name is on the container?

Also, this may not be relevant but Morgantown, WV is 388 miles from Carowinds, according to google driving directions.

Jstbcool wrote:Thanks for the great picture update! It looks like they're getting more footers ready! The layout still looks like a typical B&M hyper to me, but I guess we'll find out in less than a month if thats true. Hopefully those cement trucks will be out this week and they'll get more footers poured. I dont know if I have missed this somewhere on the forum, but is there an obvious area that they will be staging the track? I havn't seen photos of any fenced off area in a parking lot like at KD or at KI last year.

I don't believe KI fenced off part of the parking lot. I believe the track was just stored in a lot that isn't used too much.

From TPR
Just got back from the park and by the Carowinds sign and sky tower there is a box that has many teasers . The crate reads a few interesting things like IZ 12 E nuff" (12E is someone at Carowinds a Cedar Point fanboy O_O) and on the side it has "Lightning really does strike twice" , all letters are in white on the silver crate backing and it revv's and makes car noises. It also states "Do not open till spring 2010". Theres also a shipping label "bull dog shipping" with "thinking Big really Big" listed. The box lists MorganTown West Virginia, 26505. Under it , the listing says "item #44".

I think we have an in park teaser like the box we had before Cobra.

I will upload a pic from my friends phone When he gets home later tonight.

(emphasis added) Sounds like something they said for the teaser for Dimaondback last year: "Think big. No. Really BIG." Copy cats.

I did that and it said page not available.

Lots of airtime hills a.k.a. mountains.

...Kinda like on hulk.

Those are facts. One of those facts by itself may not mean a whole heck of a lot, but when you put them together the puzzle pieces fit. If this is anything other than a standard B&M hyper I'll eat my words.

I do so enjoy seeing good stuff like this on the boards but me being me have a mere question that I hope you can explain to me for I am sure alot of others might be thinking the same thing. This is in all fun so do not get that bent out of shape.

And that question is so you say there is a 'so called three coaster deal' between Cedar Fair and B&M. Where do you infact have proof of this? I have not saw anything that shows that there is a deal in place for what you speak of.

To add to carowindsman6654's posting....I was at the park today and overheard some people in shirts and ties talking near the crate. The one guy kept saying that there was a significance to the identification code "EBCLAKF" and it will be interesting if people can figure it out.

Does anyone have any thoughts of what it could mean? Maybe the letters spell something....Im not sure...must be code for something.

They were in shirts and ties? They must have been powerful people! Well, now I'm a believer.

Well, since the thread I started was closed, I will say what I had to say here:

Hey everyone! I am a new member, but I had to join because I put together some facts tonight. Here goes:
1. The FIRST ever NASCAR hall of fame is opening in a city in the US next May. Guess which one? CHARLOTTE

2. According to one clue Dani gave you all at the Stock was a log with the number 3 on it. The number three is....Dale Sr's number!

3.there is another clue dealing with the date 1973, the year Carowinds opened. this is the 37 years mentioned in the teaser.

4. Both Carowinds and the Hall of Fame are opening in the spring, so the release of the coaster will be a tie-in to the Hall of Fame, when it opens in May.

So, basically I think it will be a Nascar coaster. I know you all probably came to that conclusion, but I wanted to help if I could. Sorry If I stepped on anyone's toes here, but I'm new. I don't know anything about this stuff. I've been reading your boards, and everyone sounded so nice. I guess that's not true. Oh well....

So, if another CF park gets a B&M in the next year or so, does that mean it's a 4 coaster deal, or the first of a new 3 coaster deal?

I wonder if the #3 means how many trains they'll have?

EBCLAKF=Every Body Can Laugh At Knottsberry Farm.

There, I solved it. See, we can laugh, because Knott's just doesn't have the room for this type of hyper! All they can have is their short launched 'hyper'.

It is what has been revealed by inside sources and what has been leaked. There is nothing that can be read by the public that says that. It is (for all intensive purposes) a contract that has been signed. People in the industry know about that and eventually it gets from those sources to lower people like us. Just take it as being true because most things like that are (well, as long as they're not outrageous, and this isn't...)...

If Carowinds AND another park gets a B&M next years, I'd say it's possible CF bought another coaster deal. But, I don't know.
