If my memory serves me right, the park never did say what they were gonna do under the coaster. It was an idea on this board when the question arosed if they were gonna leave grass or the parkinglot when construction started and it was holes in the asphalt instead of full fledge tearing it up. This has been touched on a little in the main thread but I thought I would create a poll to get a feel for which is more popular. After listening to some of the interviews, it appears that Cedar Fair hasn't made up their minds whether to tear up the parking lot and plant grass or leave the asphalt and theme it to a race track.
Which would you prefer to see?
with construction being over and done we now know the asphalt was indeed ripped (from the silver screen
) up and it seems quite natural to just plant grass or some type or greenery...
