Lets hope the press don't get ahold of any of these pics or we might see CF crack down on Carowinds causing panic and mayhem and what not.
i don't think that trespassing legally counts as terrorism. the primary definition of terrorism is the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes. this guy and his 3 friends did nothing but wander up to an unsecured under construction roller coaster, climb up a bit, and take some photos. no acts of violence or intimidation were committed. so please, explain to me how this guy is a terrorist?
if you bother to read his blog, you'd discover someone who simply gets high up on things, enjoys the view, takes a few photos, and leaves. you'll also notice a trend - most places aren't as secure as you would assume. he doesn't have to do damage to get into these places. it's as simple as finding a hole in a fence or an open door. since he's obviously a photographer, i really doubt that any "sensitive" materials at construction sites or anything a criminal would consider appealing attract his attention. he seems far more concerned with getting a good shot than stealing anything. any criminal would think it would be absolutely insane to get into a place, walk around, take photos, and leave without damaging or stealing anything. this guy isn't a terrorist, and he certainly doesn't deserve to be shot.
About him saying he rode a coaster is pretty much impossible so I deft don't believe that.
if you had actually read the post with the roller coaster pictures you would have noticed that they did *not* ride the coaster. too bad that someone being stupid and making a fuss over some pretty cool photos meant that it had to be taken down.
