General Carowinds discussion

The coasters would follow the same rules as Intimidator 305 and Intimidator. I know this is completely, and utterly ridiculous, but I was just thinking that something like that could happen.

I brought up that idea last month, it would be great for both parks though. :D

I don't see any reason why Kings Dominion would build a similar coaster that is smaller than the one they already have. It makes sense for Carowinds because they've already received the attendance bump from Intimidator and now they can say "Hey remember how awesome that was? Well now we're building something even bigger."

Plus there seems to be a lot of indications that Kings Dominion is expanding their water park next year.

Believe it or not some seasonal park employees do know what's coming in advance. Some cases a year in advance.

Some have friends or family who work in maintenance or other full time areas. I'd say about 1% of the seasonal employees know. Some are just smart enough to keep their mouths shut.

I'll be honest. When I heard in advance I communicated that info with family, friends and a select few co-workers.

Guys we've been wrong all along. My friend has this friend whose friend knows this guy that knows a guy that went to the park and the Joe Cool Cafe janitor told them that it's going to be the first 1,000 foot tall coaster. It will be 1,325 feet tall and go 7,951 mph, and have 27 inversions. Also, the entire park is being themed to Rome, and Paramount is buying the park back. And I know it's true because it said so online too.

A toll booth worker confirmed that to me as I entered the park today, also saying the coaster will also be 19,500 feet long.

So you say some are smart enough to keep their mouths shut... BUT then turn around and basically call yourself a smart not buy saying you did just that by telling everyone you basically know. This can't be real life hahaha...so cameron, since you've basically told the world, tell me...what is the park getting next year???
