Hey guys or should i say good morning! I went to the park this weekend and to my suprise the scarowinds stuff is starting to go up! I have to say, im pretty impressed so far with what I see. Im kinda glad the park decided to add "fearzones" because that gives the event more personality. Well anyway here are the pictures.
The first set of pics are of what looks to be the area that doubles for the nick or treat by day and CornSTALKERS by night...
Now moving not too far from that area closer to the front of the park we have the area that looks to be known as Corpse Cavern. Lucky for carowinds they have a good bit of trees the scaracters can hid and scare the shi....crap outta you!
Now shifting gears to Spider's Lair which is gonna home of...yep you guessed it, Scorpions! Lol lol, no really, Spider's Lair looks to be the creepiest area especially if the web gets on the people and they have those hanging invisible strings that tickles your skin.
And what looks to be like its gonna be the best fearzone we have Slaughter Street. The short of the story is that the filming of a movie scene is gone wrong and somehow the undead is waiting in the wreckage.
im very excited with how Scarowinds is turning out over the years. Being the horror fanatic that I am I am really impressed with all the detail the park is going thru this year. And the fact that all new houses with the exception of alien crypt and the introduction of the "fearzones", Scarowinds is gonna be a hit!
Thats all for now but I leave you with this final picture! Did I mention the park is going all out for this one it seems !
