I don't know if this has been posted yet, but this is a great article about Cedar Fair:
http://www.iaapa.org/news/funworld/funw ... april-2016The article talks about the direction the company is moving in and the thought process behind adding new attractions. It also talks about how they had to rediscover the brands of their parks, especially Knott's and Carowinds. They acknowledge that both parks had moved away from their identities in recent years, with Knott's turning into somewhat of a thrill park (You can thank Dick for that), and Carowinds moving away from its southern roots.
Then they talk about accommodations, digital dark rides, yada yada yada, the stuff we've already heard from other articles and conference calls.
Somewhat of an unrelated question: Did Carolina Harbor raise attendance more than Fury? I know Cedar Fair said Fury exceeded their expectations, and if it exceeded the numbers estimated in the closed session thing three years ago, attendance should be around 2.2 - 2.3 million.
