This will be for the shaded quene line. If they’re moving this fast with this on construction when they have something much bigger to worry about it HAS to be open for winterfest, what’s the point to just let it sit there until opening day?

That's what I'm saying. Don't forget it's on the 2018 Guest Assistance Guide as Flying Eagles

Or there was some sort of delay, and that was something the crew could work on off to the side while waiting.

Maybe they just wanted to get the concrete poured and everything read? Those permits were for "ride pad" or something similar, so this may be all they do. I watched the camera yesterday and they were not even working on the flyers at all, so either they had the day off, or they aren't going to do much more? I think they needed this in place so they can put pavers (or asphalt) around etc. Now they can get everything done when needed. Some of the ride itself is under fury and its clearly seen when riding. On the 360 POV video you can see it. I wouldn't expect it to return this year.

EDIT: the permit DOES say new ride 2018....so I might be wrong on this one. I just done see them moving the construction walls back and opening it for like a month, maybe 2. I guess we will see. I will be more of a believer if they star building the ride itself in the coming weeks.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is getting West Coast Racers, a coaster with the world's fastest acceleration with two trains racing against each other.
Can we put an end to the idea that MM is announcing early to 'one-up' Carowinds?

After seeing Carowind's latest instagram post I am starting to wonder if "Granny's Epic Secret" is actually something that we don't know yet. We already know that it will be a double launched roller coaster and have a pretty good guess on the theme so what could possibly still be kept from us that is a secret?

Pretty sure the coaster is Granny’s epic secret, the vast majority of guests are still in the dark on what is being announced until next Thursday.

Also congrats to everyone who received a chance to go to the announcement next Thursday. I highly doubt I’ll be able to get off work but in the event I do I’ll try to bring someone.
