There we go... fixed a couple things... My design profile was off. I think I'm right about the helix, though!

I was at the park this afternoon with my son. Around 3 the rain really started to come down so we decided to leave. As we were walking past the Panda Express, I noticed 2 older gentlemen in shirt & ties with Carowinds nametags on standing under on of the umbrellas. They had a blueprint and were pointing at the mound of dirt.

I casually turned around and walked back. When I looked over their shoulder at the blueprint, there was a layout of a Roller Coaster.

Unfortunately, I was holding my son & it was raining hard or I would have taken a picture.

I soo would have ditched the kid!

I would have dropped the kid, stole the blue prints out of their hands, and headed for the nearest exit as fast as I could. So, you go to jail for a few years...big deal.

Im in the Trucking Biz, and I went on the load boards looking for
flat bed loads out of OH to Charlotte. Nothing but it helped when
I was tracking the Former Led Zep to HRP. But i cant remember
what Town the B&M steel plants in? can you guys give me some help!

Hey coasterboy, I was wondering that too since the markings are on the pavement. Maybe they will put in the footers and then go back and dig up the asphalt?

Forgot about seeing this when I was out there on Sunday. If you look at Wes' pics of the numbers(first one I think) you will notice a small hole near it. They all have this. Seems like they could have buried a metal piece below ground to mark the spots. When they come thru and tear up the asphalt, they will be able to find the marks and begin footers. AT least that is what it looks like to me.

those holes may have been where a "core" sample was taken... to check the dirt underneath...

Kinda off topic here but, I wonder how much sworn to secracy those workers are in the plant in ohio. I wonder if they are hiring..We need someone on the inside.

I would say it's safe to assume they sign NDAs. For anyone who doesn't, I would imagine they value their job enough to not leak things (or to leak them carefully...).
