Well, at least this ups our chances for that B&M hyper...

Anyways, the top of that track does look very Intamin-like. And I also think this will be a launch coaster... a very fast one too.

True and I think you're right. Personally, i'd rather have a hyper than a launch but that's just my opinion.

Of course, the Magnum is the only other hyper I've ridden (meh, it's average) so I don't know what a B&M feels like. Launched coasters just end too quickly. But I still love the Maverick... If anyone here has ridden Diamondback, could they tell me what it's like?

Diamondback is great. Very smooth, pretty forceful, and EXTREME airtime. You are out of your seat during literally half the ride! But, I could just be biased .

The only Hyper I ever rode was (AC) @ Bush Great Coaster.
But I love the B&M drop coaster. so I will leave it to you guys.
If Yall say hyper is better bring on Hyper!!

Yes, but B&M didn't build the launch.

Not sure if WL was the first or not. There were 2 that year, and WL was one of them.

^ Yeah, it was White Lightnin', King Kobra at KD and Tidal Wave at CGA that opened in 1977 and were the very first launched coasters in the world.

^ Coaster Parts should start showing up within the next 3 weeks. There is still a fair amount of work to be done on the site for right now.

Keep your eyes out for piping, digging, drainage tubing and more markings by next week.

I'm heading to the park today for Sonfest, so since the place is gonna packed I'll be taking pictures instead of riding stuff. lol

Maybe some dirt port from me tomorrow. Depending on if anything has happened or not.

Just to let you all know, screamscape.com posted today that the yellow supports that were delivered last week ahve been packed back on to trucks and moved else where...... Hopefully thaty are coming to Carowinds, and i find this to be kind of funny...
