Sorry to be off topic but there were several questions about what I'll be doing in merchandise.

I don't know at this point, but orientation is Saturday.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Do you mean IZ12ENUFF=Is 12 Enough

Did you say angle of descent?!?!

I bet poor newton is rolling over in his grave right now. the angle of descent doesnt really have much to do with the distance in height an object falls...

When friction is involved number of hills and legnth are important, angle well help determine the legnth of track. but you're right, 5-10 degrees isn't going to make a big diffrence.

Hello....elephant in the room.....I wonder if anyone is going to address this :?: Someone please humor me...wtf does Togo have to do with anything. Maybe they will come forward that we are getting shockwave instead of a new coaster? In that case "history making" would be "breaking news: mass harakiri amongst Carolina coaster enthusiast"

So a guy that I know that works at the park told me Carowinds is building a HUGE new coaster for next year. So I went to the park to check it out and the log flume is gone! Anyone know who the manufacturer might be? Oh, and there is a big plot of land in the parking lot fenced off...smells like an Intamin rocket coaster to me - maybe even bigger than the skytower!

curiosity, I wonder if Thunder Road could be getting a name change, they been working on it for sometime, if they paint it white they could name it White Lightning and then use the name Thunder Road for the new coaster which would tie into the racing theme better.
