I think that all but seals the deal. Looks like "Intimidator" - no numbers following. The log in is exactly like Intimidator305's before going live.

On a side note, I think it's important for everyone to weight your best wishes against what most likely will be revealed tomorrow. We know Carowinds is getting a B&M coaster. We hope it's a Hyper. But beyond that it gets even more speculative. Just to be safe from disappointment, I suggest not to get too carried away with details. I know what I hope it's going to be, but a side of me fully expects it to be a La Ronde Goliath-esque B&M. Maybe not even 200'. Or maybe just a tick over 200'. But I don't expect anything topping out at 230' or more at Carowinds. If it happens I'll be surprised and very pleased. Still, any recent B&M Hyper has been an airtime generator and that alone sould make it the parks best coaster to date.

Apollo's Chariot is a FANTASTIC ride and so smooth with a ton of airtime. Man I went 3 weeks ago and had dog tags on, they were level with my eyes for half the ride lol.

White Lightning is the name of the other ride Carowinds will be getting. They never said it was only going to be a coaster for next year, and have used the word "plans" or "projects", meaning plural, during interviews.

And I ADORE Goliath & Nitro (the only B&M hypers I have been on) for the same reasons. Last time we rode Goliath, someone's change came out of their pocket in front of us and (seemingly) hovered in the air at face level before slowly drifting back toward us. It was hilarious. Based on my limited experience, I can't see this ride NOT being a total hoot, regardless of the height. Especially for those of us who relish airtime. And the re-rideability (not sure that is actually a word) is outstanding on these things, in my opinion.

Completely agreed. The airtime is what makes the ride. Also wanting to ride again. Carowinds rides aren't exactly known for that lol. You don't get off Vortex and go... lets go ride it again!!

Not saying you're wrong, but could those other plans be the conversion over to Planet Snoopy instead of a new ride in addition to the coaster?

I'll have to throw in my support for a B&M hyper. There is absolutely nothing wrong with B&M hypers. They are fantastic, crowd-pleasing rides. Even in my book, Behemoth kills SROS SFNE--the constant up and down with strong airtime = WILL IS HAPPY. :p

I'll be back on opening day weekend so I can keep my tab on for having been on all B&M mega coasters on this continent. Carowinds surely won't disappoint us!

Too bad Intimidator 305 opens in April, so that's another visit; I had hoped to do it in the same weekend. 2010 looks like a good year for the southeast!
