^ and I am sure that is worse than not having the coaster itself? With as many times as most of us are going to ride I am sure we are going to get the prefered and the dreaded not prefered seating. But as I have noticed lately, with the invention of the new "stadium seating" trains there realy isn't a bad place to ride.

Every coaster that I have been on that has assign seating I always ask and get what I want. Even get what seat I want on tower of terror...

For Diamondback, if you request a seat, you normally get it unless the crew needs to quickly fill a train or the line for that row is really long. Later in the season, there were some days when the line would be pulsed and you could pick a seat, or, in October on Sundays, there was ano attendent at the entrance to the station at all, so you could obviously pick a seat.

Cant we just be happy that we are getting such an awesome ride? The national recognition will be outstanding for Carowinds.

Yes.... now all .00001% of Carowinds visitors that visit this site will only visit the park on Sundays and clog the lines... nice job ruining our secret... that has been posted on Carowinds.com for years.

/sigh.

I guess the rain from yesterday was so heavy it soaked the ground because I haven't seen any progress made today on the cam.

Was by the park wednesday and thursday. It looks like they where putting Big Red (Crane) back together wednesday and sure enough as of thursday Big Red was back up and running. They have her at or near the turn around at around 10 am this morning. It looks like one of the other cranes are being taken apart and loaded on Flat Beds to be moved away.

Looks like some track had arrived since wednesday when I was in the area. I am sure Wormy will have pics.

I too noticed "Big Red" was back up and running.. Must have been down and waiting on a part to fix her..

Looks to me like they are putting the finishing touches on the lift before doing the MCBR.. That crane would be "stuck" where its at... Almost seems easier to wait and get that big monster out of there, then knock the rest of it out from outside the fence.. Or work inside with a smaller mobile crane that could drive under it..

Hey, we've "unofficially" named a crane.. LMAO
