While the Cobra's opening and Nighthawk's face lift was being announced didn't they say something about repainting the Cyclone and if so what color? They should paint it the same shade of red as when it opened! And have they started back on Thunder Road reconstruction?

There is a whole topic about the carolina cyclone. Yes they said it would be painted. Also, you don't need to make 3 posts in a row.

I have seen what you are refering to in the webcam but was thinking it was for a gift shop not trees.

Has anyone noticed that on the webcam their is a checker flag where a restaurant is (panda express). It is the memorial to Dale earndhardt.

Ya funny thing about the flag. It was just heaters in a grid to look like a checkered flag. I just post my oncoming observations. I dont know when to keep my mouth shut.

I just saw the ride in person yesterday and the midcourse is taller than I imagined. If there isn't much braking involved there should be a nice drop off to give that helix some speed, whereas the animation makes the helix look pretty slow.

It really is bigger when you see it in person, the turnaround curve is so tall!
