General Carowinds discussion
#36314
I was just thinking the same thing when I looked at the new pictures from Wormy above. One of the best parts of Apollo's Chariot in the back seat is the drop off the mid-course, and this one appears to be a good bit taller than that, so hopefully that will be a great moment on this coaster as well.

I have to admit it really does look bigger in person. When I went to scarowinds this year only the first hill was done and it was huge. All night I would look up and see it staring right in my face. I guess it was well...
INTIMIDATING!

Thanks again Wormy!

I'm gonna have to get down there and see this thing in person soon. I know how much bigger the lift hill looked "live" in mid-October, so I can only imagine how the ride looks now with so much more of it done.

It's still somewhat hard to believe that a bit over a year ago there was a log flume there, and at the start of this season there was a big pile o' crap. Now there's a whole lotta hypercoaster sitting there.

It sure isn't "mid"course.

Haha, I thought the same thing after seeing the layout. I would even go as far as saying a 4/5th's course brake run. I still can't help but think there will be some water feature right next to the ride.

Here's to hoping for a great flat in that grass area between the queue and Gauntlet. How bout a giant frisbee...I'd take that.

P.S. If anyone knows how to get rid of hiccups - the ones that keep you up until 3a.m. in the morning - please, for the love of God, let me know. Really.
