When I try to look at this webcam, it doesn't come up. It shows an outline of the box(webcam screen) and there is a little picture symbol in the upper left hand corner. It doesn't tell me what it is or why I can't watch the webcam. I think I need to have some media player thing for it to work, but I don't know. Can someone help?

It sure isn't "mid"course.

Haha, I thought the same thing after seeing the layout. I would even go as far as saying a 4/5th's course brake run. I still can't help but think there will be some water feature right next to the ride.

Here's to hoping for a great flat in that grass area between the queue and Gauntlet. How bout a giant frisbee...I'd take that.

P.S. If anyone knows how to get rid of hiccups - the ones that keep you up until 3a.m. in the morning - please, for the love of God, let me know. Really.

for hiccups:

1st: fill a glass of water. bend down forward and drink all of the water from the wrong end of the glass ( the opposite end you normally drink from) yea... awkward... but it usually works.

2nd: feel around your back till you find the bottom corner of your shoulder blade. Find a friend to push on that spot hard with two fingers for 10-15 seconds while you hold your breath. Don't push on the shoulder blade, push right next to the bottom corner.

I've been watching the cam for about 10 minutes today (3:45pm-3:55pm) and it seems they are having a difficult time with this this particular piece of track. The high track that leads to the dip in the diving spiral. The crane would hoist the track up almost in place, then it would lower the track back down to nearly ground level. They did this several times and just couldn't seem to get it in place. It's very breezy outside, you can see the trees whipping around. The track also seems to be moving wildly from the holding cables. I'm guessing this may be why they are having a problem setting the track in place.

The new track sections have to be rigged with slings so that the pitch and tilt while on the hook is close enough for the steel workers to align the bolt holes. They use spud wrenches to get the holes close enough to drop in a drift pin or two - then bolt the new section in place. Needless to say sometimes the rigging is off enough that they must bring the section back in and re-adjust the slings.
