So about exiting off the ride. Is there suppose to be some type of pond or something that you will be walking near or over. Just wondering from looking in the photo.

I was flying in from Ohio this morning and our plane went directly over Carowinds. The view of Intimidator with that morning sun gleaming off the track and supports was just spectacular! I couldn't get to my camera fast enough but the ride looks pretty dang nice from several thousand feet. It was certainly an attention getter on the plane too.

Where are the trains usually manufactured? Are they in Ohio as well, or somewhere else?
If they are stateside, has anyone seen them yet?

I believe I read before that the trains are made in Switzerland (sp?). They are not made in the same place as the track and supports (At least I don't think so)

Hah, and I just flew out of Charlotte for Boston at lunchtime. Before I went to the airport, I went to check out Intimidator. What a beauty. I've only flown over Carowinds once and I can't imagine how much better it has to be with Intimidator!

Also went around Thunder Road to check out any progress by GCI and looks like nothing has been worked on since last year. Anyone can confirm or did I miss anything?
