General Carowinds discussion

Good thing the coaster won't quite make it to 88mph...

And on the note of the Statix models - I wouldn't mind having one of those for $30. If they'd do one for Afterburn, I could display it with my genuine Coaster Stock '09 Top Gun Guide Wheel that I won. I still haven't figured out what to do with that thing

At least yours doesn't weigh as much as a small child! How many people helped me lug that log flume wheel around that night?

I know there was four trains at one time...during the early Carowinds years. In fact there is a picture of all four trains I believe on CarowindsEarlyYears.com . I know there is a red, a green, and not sure if there is still a blue one or not....might be in the shop behind the scenes. I think Goldrusher would be a most to do if there was going to be any at all. I mean it was the first roller coaster at the park, not to mention it opened with the park in '73.

DLDude, how do I need to go about requesting them. Do I need to contact the park or contact CD myself?

And no, they aren't normally that busy on days other than Saturday.

oh yea, thanks. I might go the that Friday since schools should still be in and I doubt anyone is going to go then when they could go a whole day.
