Just had my first in person look at the completed coaster. The 27th can't come soon enough!

Carowinds contacted CD last summer about it. There are no plans for a model now.

Statix may still be a possibility. Be sure to request them!

I know there was four trains at one time...during the early Carowinds years. In fact there is a picture of all four trains I believe on CarowindsEarlyYears.com . I know there is a red, a green, and not sure if there is still a blue one or not....might be in the shop behind the scenes. I think Goldrusher would be a most to do if there was going to be any at all. I mean it was the first roller coaster at the park, not to mention it opened with the park in '73.

Sorry guys, CD would only make Hurler, Thunder Road, Afterburn, & Intimidator. They might mold a standup train if more then Carowinds asked for one.

I didn't even notice they are open every Friday this spring starting the first week of April. Sweet!

And no, they aren't normally that busy on days other than Saturday.
