Oh, this is rich. JordN1414's review is being called "biased" on KDFansite, because he's a member here. The irony is that the guy who first made that claim has Intamin in his screen name. Gee, no bias there. Nor any bias from the other guy making the claim, who had KD in his name. Pot, meet kettle.

I retract my first statement. There are A COUPLE neck chops. One time I blacked out so long once I thought I was blind. I didn't ride once with out a blackout. The best part is the lift hill. It goes so fast. The trim is pretty strong. This is a front seat coaster and over all its a alright coaster. Tell kdfansite I asked a few other people from OTHER states that said this will not make their top 10. I agree. It's alright they will see tomorrow. They just won't admit it.

That "other guy" was me.

There's no need to get argumentive here about two very different coasters in two different parks in two different states.I actually think that CF did a good job in making each of these rides unique, unlike the approach that SFI takes where they build, say 20 BTR's or five THBS coasters that offer the SAME ride experience from park to park.

We should try to be positive about a new coaster's opening, even if that coaster is in another state/park other than your local park instead of acting a childish about it.I've read the reviews for Carowind's coaster & seen the photo TR's & they did a fantastic job with the theme of the ride but I havn't bashed it just because I'll personally never get to ride it....instead I'm focused on riding the new one we have opening up here which will be every bit as good as the one you've gotten this year.

We should be grateful to CF for giving both parks these coasters, because they could've always been built at other parks in the chain you know.

They raved about Nitro, they raved about Behemoth, they raved about Diamondback, but Intimidator232 is unimpressive and unoriginal.

If something was terrific a year ago or two years ago, why is it not terrific now?

These fanboys forget the reason there are so many B&M hypers- competition and demand drive the market, and if B&M hypers were (insert KDfansite adjective), they would not sell like they have. Parks don't just throw out 20+ million for a (again, insert KDfansite adjective) coaster. The modern B&M hyper product is very consistent, very reliable, and offers a fantastic, world class experience that pays in dividends with extremely high capacity and very little maintenance. If Intamin offered an equal product, there would be more of them. No one can refute this.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. If the 20+ million dollar B&M hyper was a less superior product, like some fanboys will say, the theme parks would stop buying them.

Yes, I would find some temporary enjoyment if I305 underwhelmed, but for the record, I hope it is a knock-out win... ok I would find slight enjoyment if I232 ended up just a shade better than I305, but I don't want any kind of competition or animosity... I mean... we're arguing over steel, concrete, and rebar here lol

after saying all that jordan seems to be unbiased and has ridden BOTH intimidators so I feel his claim is pretty well respectable. He doesnt seem to be acting childish. The people making the claim that he is being biased are the ones being immature. Its like on american idol if the judges say you cant sing they go on a rant about how the judges are right, but no one makes the claim the judges are wrong if the judges say you can sing. Is carowinds intimidator perfect, nope! It is one great ride though. I will never purposely bash a ride or a park based on demographics but some fan boys just dont get it...

Ok, Back in the hotel now.

Full Review:

It is a beautiful ride! The station was nice same as Intimidator Carowinds style on the inside. They have a different "Start your engines" that I liked more than Carowinds. You head up the hill going quite fast it's really fun. Faster than MF. The first drop is pretty intense. SO many G's. To much for me. This is where the black out occurs (Not for just me others too). If they would slow the lift right at the top I think it would be alot more enjoyable first turn. Then you hit the first air time hill pretty nice airtime and regain all of the blood back to your head and you can see again. The turns after the first air time hill are great my favorite part of the ride flying around the corners. Then you get to the first 2 transitions and they are pretty rough I have to admit because of the restraints. I think if there was a small trim before this they would be alot better. After that you hit the last 2 airtime hills the first one has a strong trim. After a banked turn you hit the WORST element of the ride (photo attached). Its a weird transition its does it like half way this is where the main neck chop happens. Proceeding to the photo finish where people have funny faces because they are like OUCH that last one hurt. The ride was fun because of the speed. But for me this isn't a ride over and over ride. Even though I rode it 12 times with a few brakes.

The staff was TERRIBLE. They had one train running and it seemed to handle the people quite well. I truly think this was the first day they were allowed back to the ride. I know today was the first day they were allowed to ride. Bottom line they are slow. I would expect 4+ hour lines for anyone attending opening day tomorrow.

Side note: I didnt even post a review on here for Carowinds Intimidator how do you know I liked it?

Beautiful Ride.

OH and did I mention the cake?!?! Ace of Cakes designed it.

The coaster designer

The Worst element. I dont know if you can really see it but when you ride it you will know what I'm talking about.

Is this ride stable? See the mud and standing water underneath? eekkkkk

Had a great time at KD media day.

So of course the first reverse POV is a guy that fits the restraint perfect. But check the girl out on the right. OUCH. This video shows real good of what I'm talking about with the last transition with the guy.

And a front facing POV:

I will say this...and this is not bashing either parks not rides....The construction company of I-305 could have done much better.....MUCH MUCH BETER. There is no excuse for mud underneath the station or standing water from what look like a leaky pipe. Heck the construction company's crew that Carowinds used, when they got done they helped settle the area that was used for construction...leveling and just cleaning up in general. From POV's and pics it seems like the construction crews just left the place a mess. There are still those dirt retention, plastic construction walls all over the place. It looks sad and shameful. Almost as if it was "rushed" and just uncared for what the ride area looks like.

I will say that I am not happy to hear that people are blacking out on this ride. In combination with all the neck chops, the black outs could cause KD to have a Son of the Beast on their hands. I hope and wish that this is not the case, but only time and the general public will tell.

Personally, I was looking forward to try and ride this, but after hearing and seeing what I have observed. I vow never to ride it until the get rid of the OTSR's, since I am close to that small girl's size on the video. I enjoy a twisty coaster but not going home in a neck brace nor blacking out on a ride (I prefer to remember it all and see it all). This ride needs a HANS Neck Restraint (just like NASCAR uses) for the riders. *Note Sarcasm in the last paragraph*

Seriously, I wish I could ride it. I think this is going to be either you love it or you hate coaster.

After watching those POV's, I don't think I would enjoy this coaster as much as some. If I ever get back to KD, of course I'll ride it, but will definitely be cautious. I think just by watching, Carowinds has the better ride. Those twisted transitions look PAINFUL. That poor girl in the reverse POV....she is probably going to be all bruised in the face tomorrow.
