We left Busch Gardens a little early today to get a head start at Kings Dominion, and were surprised to find the park completely dead. 305 was a complete walk on, and the park was open until 10 PM tonight so we got a nice night ride.
Like everyone else seems to be reporting, I blacked out almost completely in the first turn every single time we rode, and always came to about halfway up the following hill. That hill under the lift has fantastic airtime. It's a really wild and unique ride. Doubt it would be in my top 10 steel, though. After that big hill it doesn't do a whole lot for me. The turns are nice and quick but chopped my neck a good bit, and the two hills parallel to the station are absolutely killed by the trim brake; no airtime at all. The first drop is incredible in the back seat, though, and the first turn is no doubt the most intense moment I have ever experienced on a coaster. It's probably a top 20 steel for me, but I far prefer most of the B&M hypers. Grizzly is still the best ride at Kings Dominion for me.
Back tomorrow for more rides...
