ok first time I heard that one. Anyways I find it funny that the crate/sign for SOB is gone. I would hate to see the same fate for i305. Yeah I know...highly unlikely. But still i305 could have been handled better with the design of the trains/seats and harnesses. But who am I to complain?

Lets start with the bad.

I HATE the restraints. I think they are unnecessary.
I HATE the trim. I think it is unnecessary.

K, now for the good.
The airtime on the first hill is AMAZING, and the first drop isn't too bad either. The transitions while taken at ridiculous speeds, never gave me the karate chop that some other people have felt. I think I do like it more than Millennium Force (which I haven't been on in 7 years but whatever..), but I probably don't like it as much as any of the other B&M Hypers I've been on. It was very 'Voyage-esque' in that it was a workout just riding while trying keeping my wits about me.

I did gray out towards the end of the first turn on all 8 rides, but that seems to happen to me all the time (Schwarzkopf loopers, Boomerangs, Backlot Stunt Coaster...). I don't like the term "black out" as that makes me think of someone just being completely knocked unconscious.

Overall I think Kings Dominion has a great ride on their hands. I'm glad both Intimidators are terrific coasters, and I look forward to riding both for many years to come.

305 is my #2 steel coaster out of almost 200, just behind Millennium. I think it'll be a while before anything touches either of those. The restraints really don't bother me, I can handle a little neck chopping. The trim doesn't bother me either, there's still plenty of floating air on that hill.

For the record Intimidator is my #10 steel and my #2 B&M hyper (#3 hyper overall with Magnum as my favorite).

I too went to Busch Gardens and Kinds Dominion this past weekend, and even ran into Jonathan at both parks. But I have to admit the hard right at the end of the first drop does cause you to about black out every time. On the other hand tho I do believe this is my new favorite ride!! Unlike most ACErs i really really enjoy intense rides the most, and then followed by more laid back rides such as the B&M hypers and Intimidator 305 has amazing airtime on its few hills and offers alot of intense transitions. So for my tastes in is definatly my new favorite.

Rumors are swirling that a trim has been added to the first drop...

Who didn't see this coming?

Edit: Now they are saying there aren't any trims, but they are running one train with a slow lift hill. Employees have no comment when asked about it.

I went to KD and BG two weekends ago. Road Intimidator 305 twice.

I don't care for the over the shoulder harness and I don't care for the jerking from one direction to the other later in the ride. So I give my vote to Intimidator at Carowinds as my choice of which is better.
