Not sure if this was mentioned here yet (as I didn't see it), but they have replaced the OTSR's with straps now making the ride more comfortable for the transitions. However, it would seem that they hold you in the ride probably preventing you from feeling what airtime is left since they trimmed the first drop. Here's a youtube clip posted June 24th showing the new restraints and a review of them:

I hope you changed your mind before going there. Your IQ drops considerably with every visit to that site. I had to go read some Nitschke and Aristotle to boost my brain cells after 3 or 4 visits.

Rode this on Wednesday. It was amazing. Rode very front, very back, and twice in the middle. Even with the trims (which I didn't even feel) this thing was crazy. Something finally took over Goliath's reign. So yes, I think this is better then Carowinds, but Carowinds is still great.

Check out pages 658 and 659 of I305 topic there. Their coaster discussion has devolved to the point they had to have an automatic filter installed that prevented the word "trims" from being used, it would automatically replace that word with "restrictor plate." Then it got off on people's, shall we say, "orientations and preferences," who was allowed to be offended by in your face avatars, and so on. Like they don't have enough drama with melting wheels on their new coaster

Yea it seems like if you do not like a certain Trimidator on that site then you get bashed for not liking their ride. Atleast here you can speak your mind and not get bashed or have some word filter changing your words around. Well you might get bashed abit but it is in good clean fun but over there it is like you are shotting someone's mom or something. Your best bet is to ignore the childish actions of that board.

I recall having a conversation with some of my coworkers down in Orlando at a place where some wizards are at now and we had a talk about certain sites. They refered to that other site as cheap entertainment and always went there for a good laugh or see what kind of coaster drama is going on.

But I am looking forward to taking a spin on this other Trimidator in afew weeks on my way to another Ghost Hunt to see what it is like now since they have added those so called "restrictor plates." Maybe I can bring along some of my equipment that I use in ghost hunting and do an awesome and boring report on Trimmy305...O wait we have enough of those from another site.

They complain about anything huh lol. I am not even going to comment about the stupid avatars, thats just ridiculous. I was wondering why it kept saying "restrictor plate" I didnt know if that was something different from a trim or not My name on there is intimidator232, one of those people told me my opinion didnt count or some crap
