[s]ACE Southeast once again returns to Carowinds for our regional event, Carolina Coaster Classic, on Saturday, September 21, 2013. We have only begun to plan so all we have set in stone is the date at this point. More information will be released on our Facebook & Twitter pages as well as this site and our regional website when they have been finalized.

Hope to see some of you there![/s]

[s]The schedule, pricing and menu have been finalized (finally!) and I'm going to start work on the event flyer this week. Hopefully we'll have the flyer up and available to everyone by the weekend!

Should be a fun day for everyone in attendance.[/s]

Cook kids? They cook kids that come with their parents, SCarowinds should try that. Saldy, I am not an ace member anymore.

You can still go 'Nut, just mark yourself as a "guest" on the flyer.

And Jarvis, I went to HHN last year and didn't see what all the hubbub was about. The lines were 100 times longer than Scarowinds (not an exaggeration), for only marginally better scares.

Last year wasn't a top ten year I must admit...but I always manage to go thru every house with little to no waits...never waited more than an hour and that's with no express. Is this the first year c3 takes place during scarowinds?

What the hell? I went on a THURSDAY in October and had multiple hour waits. I stood in line so long for some of those houses that I just kind of ran through them so I could give my legs a much needed rest on the other side.

I don't have the exact dates for every C3, but I know the first one in 2002 was during Scarowinds. Then they moved it to summer from like 03-06? And then in the early fall from 07-10?

Crap want to go see if I can find these dates now...

EDIT: Alright I looked them up, the ACE Southeast Region website is quite good, and they still have the group photos!

C3 1 - Saturday, October 12, 2002
C3 2 - Saturday, August 23, 2003
C3 3 - Saturday, August 21, 2004
C3 4 - Saturday, August 20, 2005
C3 5 - Saturday, September 16, 2006
C3 6 - Saturday, September 9, 2007
C3 7 - Saturday, September 20, 2008

Thanks to those of you who registered! There are only 40 total folks so it should be a good time for everyone.

Unfortunately I won't be in attendance due to a scheduling conflict with work (meaning I don't have any days to take off for it, lol). I'm sending my assistants over in my place though so you will be in good hands.

^^Sorry, I'm not staying at the campground. If my whole family was going, we might consider it but I usually don't take the camper when it's just me.

Nice I understand. We are going to stay in a tent for 2 nights, make a whole weekend out of it. I have never stayed at the campground so I look forward to it, I love camping so its just better at an amusement park :)

Did you guys see that registration is at the comfort inn beside the park?
