General Carowinds discussion

Coaster Features:
-Splash down (would be great)
- intimidator style trains or Leviathan style trains
- fast lift hill or average
-Dual station (first on a B&M Giga)
-8 cars or 9 cars per train (32 per train or 36 per train, hopefully 36, higher rider capacity)
-3 trains (I would assume)
-Tunnel
-Soars over front gate

Anyone else have any other features?

This will be 100% accurate as those are the only kind of trains B&M offers on their giga/hyper coasters. :)

But, the correct answer is Leviathan style trains as B&M doesn't like to use the longer trains (Intimidator style) on coasters this high with a steep drop.

Plus that is probably a completely different contractor and will have a strict non-disclosure agreement.

You know, I didn't think of that when I posted, but then it hit me. haha, funny how our mid works. But I agree with you. I just assumed that it would be this contractor, seeing as they have done the stations for other B&M coasters. But then again, we don't know for sure.

Ah, I didn't know that. It won't happen again, as this is the first forum I have ever used. Sorry.

If that is what the new toll plaza is going to look like then I highly suspect the plantation house is staying.I really hope those drawings are Iit because Cedar Fair will Iimpress me, it would be nice to see more Carowinds style added rather than taken away.

For the record, when I closed my eyes after hearing that it may be called Centurion, that art is almost identical tobwhat I saw. Same ornament on the front as well. Colors and all. White yellow-gold, and red.
Anyway, I'm still (perhaps blindingly so) rooting for the name Centurion.

I have a suspicion that we will see the Plantation house stay, but within a new ticketing booth and entrance area. I really believe that we'll get a new Cedar Point style entrance, in the sense or their layout, not necessarily with a coaster fly-over or anything but something more efficient. Imo

^Yes, I thought that the train was suitable, but I only added the teal on it due to the fact that I think the track will be teal with white supports. I posted a picture earlier. As for the entrance. I too highly believe that the plantation house will remain. You know right now, on the inside, it houses the offices, and at the bottom, is where the gates are where you swipe your tickets. I feel that that will be removed and widened out to allocate for larger crowds. Then before that structure, I also think that we will get a more modern style entrance. The Giga will pass over in that area, but not directly over the entrance. If I viewed the blueprints correctly.
