We just secured a good rate for the Comfort Inn at Carowinds for this event for those who will be coming from out of town! The event flyer is in the final stages of being done so it should be released before long.

Mail in registration deadline is next Wednesday and online registration is a few days after that.

If you want to attend a coaster event at Carowinds, now is the time to speak up!

So If I miss the online deadline for ACE registration, I can't come to the January Tour? or is this something different?

Also, so we HAVE to be invited to the Carowinds Media Day event? or can anyone come?

You're quoting something from last year, as no such timetable has been given for THIS YEAR's C3. Thought I was being helpful keeping all the C3 info to one thread, but apparently it confuses people.

This thread has nothing to do with the January tour. This is a ACE Event in September with ERT, Q&A with higher ups at the park, food, and possibly a photo walkback, among other stuff. The January tour will be somewhat the same thing, but with no ERT, and in a closed park.

And yes, media day is an "invite only" event. Could you be put on the list? Possibly but don't count on it.

We've gotten everything finalized for the 2014 version aside from the price. Fingers crossed that it is exactly the same as last year (ACE members were $30 and $65 depending on whether or not you had a season pass and guest were $5 more).

We should have the price agreed on, the menu selected, and everything ready to be released by the end of this week or the first of next week (per the park's comment).

As soon as it's ready to go I'll let everyone know.
