The coaster can be erected pretty fast, so it is going to be all about those footers and the entry plaza. Anybody know how far they have gotten with the footers? Are they around to the front of the park, where the old entry road use to be? Have they taken the Plantation House down? Also it is about time for the 'big boy' crane(s) to arrive. They can drop the break run track in a couple of days.

Plantation House was still standing as of today 10/11.

By the looks of Wormy's pictures, it will be gone next week. It will be strange standing out there and looking all the way to the Skytower. Hopefully it will give the park a less congested feel. Carowinds will be a brand new park next year. Scarolina Cyclone.

By Sept. 5 Intimidator had track from the brake run to thd station, Fury is bigger, longer and also has an entry plaza to be built under it. I doubt it will be readyfor opening day.

I agree it will be done. After the construction nightmare that was this past offseason I believe they will be pushing to have it ALL done.

And I agree about Cabela's. I was shocked how quickly it's gone up. I miss the play area at Plaza Fiesta though. My daughter could have hours of fun there.
