Guys, calm down. I hope I'm not sounding like a moody jerk posting this, but these things will happen when they happen. There's nothing wrong with asking questions, but asking the same one over and over won't speed the construction process along.

Don't feel bad about it, IMO that's long overdue.

That is what young people do. You just have to be patient with them, enjoy their enthusiasm and answer their questions the best way you can.

Okay, looks like I missed right much (not really). Anyway, Busch Gardens was cancelled, so instead, I went to Spookywoods in Kerseyvalley and had a great time! (even though we got home a 3am)
I plan on being at Carowinds on Sunday, the last operating day, if anyone would like to come out. I will get lots of video and pictures of the park as well as all of the construction (wherever I am permitted).

I saw that California's great America is getting a planet snoopy expansion. One of the rides listed was Gr8 sk8. Can anyone confirm that this is the same ride that was removed from carowinds?

I'm leaving the park now, I got tons of pictures of the track, Fury, and the Front gate. I'll post them when I get home.

Great pics! I can see that they are working to build the gift shop under the station (like in the animation). I think that the design of the station/gift shop is going to be very cool.

Great pics but that is not the first piece of the lift hill, if you will go back and look at the pics that Wormy took on Saturday you can clearly see that the first piece is already in place.
