You know, I was thinking the exact thing. You can't send a national audience to view something they can't see. That is like having out of town guest come to your house and it is not clean.

Hm... On Carowinds' website, under "Whats New" they are offering someone to be be a "Thrill Caster". This person would get "Opportunity to report on construction updates of Fury 325, new events coming to Carowinds in 2015 and other exciting activities happening at the park in 2015 from December 2014 through November 2015.
Opportunity to make monthly appearances on the Charlotte's CW-affiliate, WCCB's News Rising reporting on Fury 325 construction.
Four (4) 2015 Gold Season Passes." - Carowinds' Website
I am not very good with a camera, but I saw it and thought I would spread the word. I hope someone from here gets the job! :D

Guess that explains how they can get around not having a PR person during construction, lol. Sounds like a fun gig though. Perfect for coaster geeks like us.

Really like this picture, shows how thick the spine is on the lift hill thats hard to get from whats been posted earlier. That spine is at least 8 feet thick, it was taller than everyone at Scarolina classic.
