In my opinion the white on the coaster is overpowering the green and blue. I have noticed that in the animation where the track gets bolted to the support is green, but it is white currently. I also do not like the look of the white cat walks and hope those get painted like the animation. I hope the top of those supports get painted as well.

So, I was doing some research on the Leviathan Chain Lift and this is how it is. I expect that Fury will be just the same. So the large spine on the first drop is not for the chain, but for structural support and good looks only.

One more post and I'll be done. In reference to the above pictures as well as the current view of Camera 1, Big Bird is around the same height as Intimidator. Go look at the webcam and think about that.
Fury is only 30 feet shy of Intimidator.
I bet the view on I-77 southbound looks pretty cool right now.

I am working at the Quiktrip on Carowinds Blvd today and I can see Fury out the window. Also a off topic side note, I saw ron Rivera in here earlier.

Any way you could post a picture. I am curious to see how the park skyline looks as of now.

I left the store without thinking about it..However the view of it going down Carotids Blvd was sweet. It's huge. I Did stop and get a few pictures

You can't see Fury until you're crossing the state line. The giant cranes look cool.

From SC or NC? Afterburn and Cobra are visible from mile marker 4 on 77 in Charlotte.

He's probably referring to northbound. I only come from the north to Carowinds and the view is always the best sight ever.

Going South on 77 you can't see Fury. When driving between exit 4 and 485 the cranes are very far to the right. There are trees and road signs in the way.

I tried to take a pic today but my phone doesn't have enough zoom to take a decent shot from the exit 4 overpass.
