Spouse roll call....who is bringing their spouse or significant other?
My wife is interested in the menu as well. She is considering attending the event.
Not a theme park junkie, but an amazing wife of 22 years that puts up with me and my craziness.

Maybe a MOD can send out a spouse or significant other, or alone questionnaire.

Thank you very much for the explanation of an event like this, Arby! My Dad and I have been lucky enough to travel to a few parks over the years, so I think between the both of us we will definitely be able to enjoy it. Even though it is off-season, it will be nice to be back and see all the progress!

LOL! That would be awesome. You couldn't even begin to imagine the things I hear from my wife as an elementary teacher.

My wife is a preschool teacher. You wouldn't believe my stories. Diapers and throw up are a daily experience.

First of all, to specifically answer your question, there will undoubtedly be someone staying in Harmony Hall to watch over things while the construction tour goes on.

On a side note, most of your questions will probably be answered when the email goes out with specifics on the event. Every ACE event/shoot/etc that I have gone to has done that. You get the specifics in an email in plenty of time before the event as in where to park, etc. You do have to remember that some of the details of any event aren't usually finalized until the week of the event so emails don't go out right away but usually closer to the event.

Thanks for responding Arby. I've been out of pocket for a bit with the holidays and all and it's glad to see someone else answering questions... correctly, lol.

I've got to get everything squared away with the park and they've been out for the holidays until this coming Monday. After the online registration ends (next Saturday night) and I've been able to process all of the registrations, I'll send out the final confirmation emails to those who have registered that will have all the details of who, what, when, where, etc. Planning an event with one park is hard enough... planning one at a closed park with eight other parks (that are closed as well) tends to be overwhelming at times, haha.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people and networking with current friends / people I know will be there. This will be my 2nd time on site at Carowinds since the announcement of the ride, looking forward to staying overnight this time versus driving down and back in 1 day from Virginia.

Welcome. Glad I was correct. You should mention to my wife that I'm not always wrong...

I can imagine what it takes to coordinate all of this. As always, feel free to hit me up directly if you ever need any assistance.

It is usually the Comfort Inn. I don't recall seeing anything about a group rate but since I'm local I really didn't pay close attention.
