The hotel is the Comfort Inn at Carowinds and there is an ACE discount for the event. Just call and ask for the "ACE Rate" when making the reservation. You might have to state that ACE is the American Coaster Enthusiasts, but the woman I spoke with said it was in the system as "ACE."

Here is a direct link for the hotel: http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-fort_mi ... lina-SC416

FYI: This discount is only available over the phone. It will not work online.

I don't understand the importance of feeding the ladies well??? Do I want to know the importance is the more important thing... :|

Some women like to eat, some eat "like birds". Either way, the king just thinks he rules the roost, a key is no good without a lock to open.

I'm not sure if this had been answered fully, I saw the initial post on the first page but didn't feel like looking through 10+ pages of responses. Anyways my question is as follows.

I'm 17 (although very close to 18) would I be allowed to attend without an adult "supervisor"? I consider myself to be very respectful and mature for my age. I don't know if it means anything but I'm the Leader of my JROTC unit witch prides itself on discipline and respect so I feel like I could meet standards.

However if I'm not able to attend without an adult I completley understand.

Thanks.

^^That's funny, I was in Army JROTC in high school and graduated a Cadet Captain. Coming from a fellow cadet, I'm sure that you are very mature and responsible. But then again, every Battalion has it's flaws. Do you mind if I ask what high school you attend? I attended Bassett High School. We've attended a few Drill meets/Raider Meets in North Carolina.

I go to Mooresville High, Its a Navy unit (so we're better at Drill) :P jkjk I've done the Raider drill meet every year actually so I've probably seen you there. I'm the Cadet Operations officer so You and I were the same rank O-3. Are you doing ROTC in College? I've been given a full ride to Norwich University (Military college). If you'd like to continue talking about this witch I'd be happy to you can PM me so we don't clog the board with off topic posts. haha

I highly doubt it. They normally do not begin season pass processing till closer to park open.

I tend to doubt it also... but it would be a REAL nice gesture on the part of Carowinds if they DID process the 2015 Season Passes during this event. My wife & I purchased the passes and on the included 2014 day we went, they weren't processing them... so we might have to look forward to an opening day spent in a season pass processing line rather than rushing to Fury to ride. And that is not a nice way to treat your best customers! If they did that, they should have a mechanism to allow us to enter the park with some paperwork and ride and process the passes later in the day...

I look at it like this... If you are old enough to drive yourself to the event then I'm ok with people attending without parental supervision. If you are not old enough to drive, then you should probably come with an adult or another responsible person. I'm very lax on what age level can attend our events, because most people use common sense and go by the idea that I just mentioned. Bottom line, I don't care who attends any of our events (wherever they are) as long as they don't show out and act a fool.

While it's not likely, I can't certainly ask and see.

I will note that the Comfort Inn at Carowinds is a really nice hotel. I stayed there during my visit back in October, it is a very clean hotel with a nice breakfast. I was also able to walk to the park from the hotel without having to worry about driving over, so if that is your plan (which I highly see a lot of construction occurring and walking may not be an option) it would save your car a bit of time off and give yourself a good amount of exercise. I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend :D

The .pdf "tickets" that TicketLeap gives you are not required. Like arby said, just show up at the check-in table and you'll get everything you need there.
