Tiimy looks like it's almost ready for another paint job; it's looking mighty pinkish.

Was that Jarvis? I didn't recognize him without the braids/dreads. Sorry sir, it's been a while, but I woulda said hello.

Just wanted to thank FamousAmos for posting those videos. I especially liked the impromptu interview with the construction manager in part 2. There was some great information in there!

I'm also extremely happy that B&M came up with what looks like a great solution to the seat belt dilemma. The way that the seat belts were installed on Behemoth, Diamondback, & Intimidator was absolutely atrocious and absolutely added to the load times this year. B&M came up with the simplest solution possible (don't they always!) for Fury 325, and I'm really hoping that the belts already installed on the 3 coasters mentioned earlier (and Leviathan now too, apparently) are swapped out for the ones on Fury 325.

From what I gathered, B&M specially designed Fury's trains to include seat belts as opposed to these just being Leviathan trains with seat belts added thrown on.

I would assume this will make it easier for the ride ops to check riders or possibly easier for riders to actually get themselves strapped in. Thus making the ride more efficient.

I hope FamousAmos won't mind me taking a screenshot from his (amazing) video:

I'll say it. I hate that B&M had to come up with a more efficient way to have seatbelts. If this country weren't full of preposterous hair-trigger litigious morons, we wouldn't have to idiot proof and engineer around them.

Look at some of the rides operating in European parks. Some of them are entirely operated by the riders and look like they are "Ridiculousness" episodes waiting to happen, but yet they exist because people, for whatever reason, know how to handle themselves within the confines of normal behavior.

I hate that my kids will never be able to ride Thunder Road backwards, or without seatbelts on any PTC wooden coaster (aside from Knoebels *thank you Dick Knoebels*) or as it stands now, ever be able to ride the "Ghost of Dueling Dragons" and have them do exactly what they were designed to do.... DUEL... because some lummox decided to throw change at an oncoming train.

I didn't wanna grow up to be the old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn and grouse about how things were better "in my day" but geez how can ya not?

^^ I get your points, but one ride on new coasters like Fury or Banshee, etc. and most people won't be thinking things were better in the old days...

and Thunder Road backwards was pretty awful... the stresses were just in all the wrong places
