Cedar Fair has a no hands up policy for all officially shot media. If you notice you'll never see hands up in anything the park shoots or allows to be shot.

I hope tomorrow's shoots won't be considered "officially shot media".... at least not all day...

The reporter said she wasn't going around again but mentioned that everyone else was. Since they didn't shoot that, they probably got to put their hands up then.

^I doubt it. The riders are probably all employees and any rides are likely to be filmed for B roll.

Can't wait to go home and watch. Tomorrow starts the fun!

fire access road

Ahhh...makes sense. Thanks.

tylerSC wrote:Just saw the Fury report on the Today Show. Good publicity, especially from NBC-Universal which operates competing parks. But I wonder how they assembled that group of riders. I would have been happy to ride along. They said it was a very smooth ride.

They might be employees. I live in Greenville and am getting Kelly and Michael. :?

I live in Greenville also and I get both WCNC and WYFF with an antenna. So I was able to see the segment twice, since Channel 4 delays part of the Today Show whereas 36 carries it live. And there will probably be more national media coverage in the coming days.

I finished my little fury model! I definitely have Fury Fever! Let me know how you think it turned out! (I might go back and paint the wheel wells and other things neon yellow to match the real train but it is a serious pain)

That looks amazing! I wonder if they will be selling replicas like this, as they do for the Intimidator. Bravo
