So all of the slides will be repainted? Well except for the wave and bowl of course.
No more Intamin for me

I love Pipeline Peak's new colors. Cedar Fair is really good at place-making. My only complaint is the lack of a mat racer.

The lines are out of control in the waterpark on the weekends, hopefully these additions will help distribute the crowds. I'm not sad to see Great Barrier Reef go, most days I was there the waves were not operational, and a basic swimming pool is a pretty poor use of space in a waterpark. I have two small kids, so I was also excited to hear about about the expanded kiddie area, does anyone know whether they are demolishing the current kiddie area to build the new one?
I also liked that they are expanding the live entertainment offerings, in order to become a first class park, you really need diverse offerings and the Cirque-esque show looks interesting. I'm glad to see that Cedar Fair is doubling down on live entertainment when other parks are cutting it.
A new Starbucks isn't all the exciting, but if Disney is any indication, it will be always busy! You might not be interested in a latte, but if it is making money for the park, its good for us.
You also can't go wrong with new food and drink offerings, I'm excited that there will be more food options in the waterpark.
The thing that had me scratching my head was the inclusion of another wave pool, don't we already have a wave pool with interactive fountains? I think it would have been much better to upgrade the lazy river, the one at Carowinds is a joke! I also would have liked to see a water coaster like Crush and Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon (only larger and better). I think that a water coaster would have been a much better addition than a virtually identical wave pool.

And if Surf Club Harbor ends up taking all of Tidal Wave Bay's (Bondi Beach's) customers, I'll have a great wave pool all to myself.Seems like Bondi Beach is always crowded since no one uses Great Barrier Reef anymore. This should even things out.
