Take the trim brake off Hurler and you have mildly good coaster, retrack the entire ride in one winter and you have a Great Coaster without the 6 million or more dollar cost.

I am hoping that the height limit will be lower than 48". I have a Grand daughter that is 46" and she is getting bored with planet snoopy. She still likes the rides in Planet Snoopy but when her brothers get to ride stuff like Goldrusher and Cyclone, etc, she wants to ride too. They need more stuff for kids between 44" and 48".

The fact that Goldeusher is 48" is absolutely pointless. The ride is super mild and cannot even throw a baby out. In my opinion, it should be 36" with a supervising adult.

I really hope Vekoma comes in and does some work on Goldrusher. Not track work, just new trains with a lower height requirement. Capacity is also a big issue, so magnetic brakes wouldn't be too bad either.

The height restriction was set by the ride's manufacturer, I was told it was the insurance back when Paramount ran the park. Cedar Point now matches the 4' restriction.

Are you sure that it's not worth bringing in Rocky Mountain Construction? I'm sure that they could easily modify the track and even add more to the layout to make it longer. Maybe even taller. You'd be very surprised with what could be done with Hurler and RMC.
It is in the "thrill zone" section of the park after all.

Was Twisted Twins made taller or did it keep its height? RMC could make turn three into a hill and diving drop, turn four into two separate bills similar to Colosuss, turn five into an outward turn and turn six possibly into an overbank giving the ride less repeatability.

I think one potential problem with RMCing Hurler would be the placement of it. There are already enough big rides concentrated in that area, what with Fury right beside it and Intimidator and Knighthawk (love it or hate it) not too terribly far away. I feel like they should spread the wealth around the park a bit more evenly. Top Gun is easily one of the best coasters at the park (I would venture to say it's on par with Fury), but there's usually relatively few people there because of its location.

We purchased one season cup so that I could keep my caffeine fix going all summer long. However, my wife (who didn't go because of the cold) threw the cup into the dishwasher and it is now destroyed. On the side it says no replacements for damanged cups, so am I just out of luck?

Yes

They replaced it without blinking an eye at guest services.
