It's gonna be a lot of disappointed guys, as in men, when they are denied access to the body slides because of having metal/plastic objects on the back or sides of their trunks. I think they got a little relax with the storm surge body slides but they are not playing around with it this year. It was explained, it causes scratching on the slides which causes body injuries.

Yea because they never wear actual swimming trunks or board shorts. They wear regular shorts that's light weight and fast drying.

Obviously I was at 6flags in ATL today, but wanted to know if they actually opened the waterpark today being it was broadcasted all over social media.

Had fun at Media Day. Obviously if you went to the park this weekend you know the volleyball courts were taken out (some may have known this long ago). I think the water park turned out pretty well. i went back yesterday for a few hours and went in the wave pool and the new kids area. Turned out well and I cant wait to take my daughters. The new Myrtle Turtle area was not open, so I am unsure if it wasn't complete yet or if they just didn't have the staff or what. New slides look nice, lines were pretty short compared to Dorsil Fin Drop and Surfer Swell when it opened. I am sure as the weather gets better than what it was this weekend it will be much longer lines. Overall I think the water park looks good and will be a great success.

No volleyball courts. That's the only reason I was going to spend time in the waterpark.

I wonder what they're going to do with that area, then. I wouldn't think it's big enough for another slide complex in the years to come, but something definitely needs to go there since right now, it's just a patch of dirt.
